A UPS differs from an auxiliary or emergency power system or standby generator in that it will provide near-instantaneous protection from input power interruptions, by supplying energy stored in batteries, supercapacitors, or flywheels.

It is a large ceramics factory in Tanzania. The output value of the ceramic factory is nearly 1 billion. However, the local power grid is not stable and the factory's original UPSs are age-old and frequent failures，customer want a high-quality &high frequency UPS system to improve the reliability.

The construction area of the equipment room of Changshan Power Supply Bureau is about 370m2. 4 equipment room management areas are planned (automation area, information area, communication area and expansion area). Furthermore, power supply room, underground battery room and gas cylinder room are also set up. In early design planning, traditional data center construction mode was adopted. Face-to-face arrangement of cabinets was implemented. Precision air conditioning refrigeration through under-floor air supply was adopted. After a number of communications, Kstar intelligent micro-module construction mode was adopted. The total amount of the project is over RMB 6 million. It is another major project completed by Kstar in cooperation with the grid system.
